She's here!

Introducing our newest IC family member. Eleanor Colleen Perry was born May 19, 2009 at 8:38 am. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. The Perry family is spending the summer getting acclimated to the new addition. Eleanor has lots of people to meet, who have been patiently awaiting her grand arrival.
First Graders
Summer School
A small handful of students are attending a summer program at IC. Sudents are able to get 1-on-1 tutoring from qualified and dedicated teachers. Both kids and teachers are enjoying the relaxed time together and LOTS of learning is taking place (yay!!!)
During our summer, those faculty members not teaching are frantically packing up years of teaching supplies in anticipation of the big move to Telfair Street. No official word yet on when we can start moving our classrooms, but we are simply being patient (it is a virtue).

We're moving!
After 96 years at its present location, Immaculate Conception will be moving to 811 Telfair Street. After renovations and upgrades, this location will be ready for students to start the 2009-2010 school year on Friday, August 7th.
Another big change for the 2009-2010 school year is: NEW SCHOOL UNIFORMS. All students will wear khaki pants or shorts and hanvy shirts. The plaid for mass uniform will stay the same. Hopefully our parents are as thrilled as we are to get rid of the white shirts!!!
